Kuje LGA, FCT

Kuje Local Government Area (LGA), has its headquarters in the town of Kuje. It comprises several towns and villages, including Damakusa, Bugako, Chida, Jeli, Kiyi, Shaji, Lafiya, Tuage, and Rubbochi. With a landmass of 1,888 km², Kuje LGA had a population of 97,233 in the 2006 census, projected to increase to 212,100 in 2022, resulting in a density of 112.4/km². Kuje LGA has a vibrant trade sector and hosts the kuje market which holds every four days.
