Gusau LGA, Zamfara State

Gusau Local Government Area, the capital of Zamfara State in Zamfara Central Senatorial District, was established in 1996. The LGA comprises of several towns and villages which include Ungumar Dawaki, Tudun Wada, Magaji, and Janyau .  Covering an area of 3,364 km², it had a population of 383,712 in 2006, projected to reach 682,700 in 2022 with a density of 336.4 people per km².
