Saki East LGA, Oyo State

Saki-East Local Government Area (LGA), with headquarters in the town of Ago-Amodu , is located in the North Senatorial District , Oyo State, Nigeria. It was created on 14th December 1996  and covers an area of 1,320 km². Saki-East has a population of 110,223 according to the 2006 census, with a projected population of 155,700 in 2022 . The population density is 118.0 people per square kilometer. Agriculture  is the dominant economic activity, with notable communities including Ago-Amodu, Sepeteri, Ogbooro, Oje-Owode, and Agbonle. Saki-East has a geo coordinate of 8°42'16.81" N 3°35'21.98" E
