Ori Ire LGA, Oyo State

Ori Ire Local Government Area (LGA), with headquarters in the town of Ikoyi , is located in Oyo North Senatorial District.  The geo-coordinates of Ori Ire are 8°20'3.23" N 4°08'39.23" E. . It was created on 10th May 1989  And covers an area of 2,060 km². Ori Ire has a population of 150,628 according to the 2006 census, with a projected population of 213,500 in 2022. The population density is 103.6 people per square kilometer. The economy of Ori Ire is predominantly agricultural, with large granite deposits in the area, particularly between Alaropo Nla and Dananu.
