Iwajowa LGA, Oyo State

Iwajowa Local Government Area (LGA), with headquarters in the town of Iwere Ile , is an important local government in Oyo North Senatorial District, Nigeria. It was created on December 4, 1996. Iwajowa spans an area of 2,529 square kilometers, with a population of 102,980 (2006 census) and a projected population of 147,000 in 2022 . The population density is 57.84 people per square kilometer.  Iwajowa has a coordinate of 8°00'0.00" N 3°04'59.99" E .
