Irepo Local Government Area (LGA), with headquarters in the town of Kisi , is a prominent local government in Oyo North Senatorial District , Oyo State, Nigeria. It was created in 1946. Irepo spans an area of 984 square kilometers, with a population of 122,553 (2006 census) and a projected population of 173,300 in 2022 . The population density is 171.5 people per square kilometer. Agriculture is the main economic activity in Irepo, with large-scale farming practiced throughout the region.
