Bolawaduro LGA, Osun State

Boluwaduro, with headquarters in Otan Aiyegbaju, is a key local government in the Osun Central Senatorial District in Osun State, Nigeria. Created in October 1996 under the late Gen. Sani Abacha, it spans an area of 172.8 square kilometers. The population was 70,775 (2006 census), with a projection of 92,100 in 2022, giving a population density of 533.0 people per square kilometer. The economy thrives on farming, textile dyeing and weaving, traditional medicine, and pottery. Educational institutions include Igbajo Polytechnic and College of Technology Iresi.
