Ifedore LGA, headquartered in Igbara-Oke , lies within the Ondo Central Senatorial District. Covering an area of 366.8 square kilometers, it had a population of 176,327 in 2006, projected to grow to 276,800 by 2022 , resulting in a population density of 754.5 people per square kilometer. Ifedore is primarily an agrarian region, with cassava, yam, maize, and cocoa as the major crops. The LGA also has a growing trade and small-scale industrial sector.
