Ilorin West LGA, Kwara State

Ilorin West Local Government Area (LGA), created in 1991 from the old Ilorin Local Government Area, is located in the Kwara Central Senatorial District, with its headquarters at Oja-Oba . Covering an area of 103.5 km², the LGA had a population of 365,211 in 2006, projected to grow to 548,300 by 2022, with a density of 5,298/km²  , making it one of the most densely populated areas in the state. Ilorin West boasts a bustling trade sector, with prominent markets like Oja Oba, Oja Tuntun, and Mandate Market.
