Kalgo LGA, Kebbi State

Kalgo Local Government Area (LGA) was established in 1996 following its separation from Bunza LGA. The LGA's Administrative headquarters is situated in the town of Kalgo, and it shares a western border with Bunza LGA. According to the 2006 census, the population was 84,928. However, the projected population for 2022 is 145,100, with a population density of 242.4 inhabitants per square kilometer and a total area of 598.6 square kilometers.The area's economy is primarily driven by agriculture, with residents engaged in both farming and livestock rearing.
