Jega LGA, Kebbi State

Jega Local Government Area (LGA), with its Administrative headquarters in the town of Jega, has historical ties to the Sokoto jihad. Its establishment is attributed to Muhammad al-Bukhari, an individual associated with the jihad's leadership.
