Bunza LGA, Kebbi State

Bunza Local Government Area (LGA) was established in 1975, following its separation from the former state of Sokoto. The LGA's Administrative headquarters is located in the town of Bunza, situated within the Sokoto River basin. Agriculture plays a significant role in Bunza's economy, with the cultivation of crops such as groundnuts, rice, millet, sorghum, and onions being prominent. Additionally, hunting, trade, and metalwork contribute to the local economic activities. The population of Bunza LGA was recorded as 123,547 in the 2006 census.
