Kajuru LGA, Kaduna State

Kajuru Local Government Area (LGA), established in 1997, is a significant part of Kaduna State, Nigeria, situated within the Kaduna South Senatorial District. The LGA shares borders with Igabi LGA to the north, Chikun LGA to the west, Kauru LGA to the east, and Zangon Kataf LGA and Kachia LGA to the southwest and south, respectively. Kajuru Town, serving as the LGA's headquarters, is a central hub for administrative and local activities. The area encompasses a landmass of 2,229 square kilometers. Based on the 2006 census, the population was approximately 110,868, resulting in a population density of roughly 50 people per square kilometer.
