Roni Local Government Area (LGA) is located in Jigawa North-West Senatorial District, with its headquarters in the town of Roni. The LGA includes several towns and villages such as Baragumi, Gora, Gadare, Kumeji, Pandako, Warpawa, Gasakoli, and Dagasawa . It has an area of 329.4 km² and a population of 77,414 according to the 2006 census, with a projected population of 133,100 in 2022 and a density of 404.1/km²  .
