Nkwangele LGA, Imo State

Nwangele Local Government Area, located in Imo State, Southeast Nigeria, has its headquarters in Amaigbo. The LGA comprises several towns and villages, including Umuozu, Abba, Isu, Amaigbo, Abeja, Umuezeala, Ebikpe, and Ezeobolo. It is amongst the local governments that make up Imo West senatorial zone. With a population of about 127,691 (2006 census), it covers an area of 71.68 km² and population is projected to be 177,500 in 2022.
