Isiala Mbano  is a Local Government Area in Imo State, Nigeria. Its headquarters is in the town of Umuelemai. It is amongst the local governments that make up Imo North senatorial zone. Isiala Mbano LGA covers an area of 130.6 km²   and had a population of 197,921 according to the 2006 census, with projections estimating a rise to 275,100 by 2022.
