Ohaozara LGA, Ebonyi State

Ohaozara Local Government Area, with its headquarters in Uburu Town, is part of the Ebonyi South Senatorial District. Established in 1996, it covers an area of approximately 312 square kilometres and had a population of about 148,626 according to the 2006 census, projected to be over 255,000 in 2022. The population density is estimated at around 476 people per square kilometre.
