Bayo LGA, Borno State

Bayo Local Government Area (LGA), with headquarters in Fikayel, is part of the Borno South Senatorial District, Borno State, Nigeria. Created in 1976, it spans an area of 1,047 square kilometers and had a population of 79,078 as per the 2006 census, increasing to an estimated 115,900 by 2022, with a population density of 70 people per square kilometer.
